Hi Ian
I think that its meant to be:-
Manichaean
"in general, every dualism claims that there are two essentially different principles of reality. Sometimes these two are represented by pairs of opposites as light/darkness, knowledge/ignorance, spirit/matter (also mind/body), Good/Evil"
the good and opposite sides of woman??
thanks for your comments - got me to look up the definition

WELL I THINK i mean i think people think society creates two sides. but generally men are depicted as beasts and women the beauties. now i agree with the latter but there are nice guys and then there are marriages with 50/50 odds. it's a good question that dilutes the interest in the image you uploaded. a corsett beauty revealing she's really a woman. somebody stop me

Hi Nick
The image is an original print from engraving, actually depicting the two sides of WOMAN - how we women are all ladylike, angelic and even sweet on one side - and very naughty, sexy & raunchy on the other
The 'beast' within rather than the male 'beast' - and yes society often does refer to the man as the 'beast', but you can't all be
