movement of man

Artist: Diane.

Movement of Man is a large mixed media painting, using acrylics, charcoal, collaged with paper for texture and depth, worked in layers.

"The painting was created from initial sketches of movements made by the male artist model across four main standing positions".

The painting aims to represent the progress of these movements.

So, sensual art can be of men too....I am particularly fond of blue, I like the movement in this painting.

Thanks for sharing your art here.

Is it me, or there is a form of grace with the movements? Was it the artist's idea to portray the male model in soft movements? reminds me of a graceful dancer...
have a great weekend

Hi BJ

The artist was capturing the transition of his movement and yes portraying this gracefully as it was executed....lol...DD :)
