Artist: DCS

The artist says "I started this painting some time ago and keep promising myself to revisit it. Sometimes I look at it and think it remains unfinished, other times I think it should look exactly this way"

Anyone like to make their observations on this painting to give contructive feedback to the artist - it might help the decision process.

What do you think?

Very Sad News

by SensualReading @ 2006-03-28 - 00:10:23

The photo, Hot Stuff, which was used to start this blog off was donated to Sensual Reading by a gentleman by the name of Mr Lawrence Biren.

Although I never actually met him, we had spoken many times for various business/networking related reasons. He was always a cheerful and upbeat guy, always busy in his business dealings and always moving forward with his projects. Lawrence was also humorous and a delight to chat with and a friend to many.

Sadly, I have just found out that he died a couple of days ago, which has come as quite a shock. My heartfelt condolences go to his family and close friends who must be devastated by his sudden death.

I have shed a few tears, I will miss his calls but remember him with fondness and a smile.

No need for anyone to comment - just wanted to note his sad loss.......DD

Arlene has captured this pose wonderfully, love the whole composition of the picture and the fact that it is black and white.

Any comments anyone?

Movement of Man

movement of man

Artist: Diane.

Movement of Man is a large mixed media painting, using acrylics, charcoal, collaged with paper for texture and depth, worked in layers.

"The painting was created from initial sketches of movements made by the male artist model across four main standing positions".

The painting aims to represent the progress of these movements.

So, sensual art can be of men too....I am particularly fond of blue, I like the movement in this painting.

Thanks for sharing your art here.
