Artist: Yvonne Gilbert

Yvonne was born and brought up in Northumberland, going on to study art at Newcastle College and Liverpool College of Art, where she did her Diploma in Art and Design. She lectured full-time for 5 years and became a freelance illustrator in 1978, since when she has worked for all the major British, and more recently US, publishers.
